Parish Council

The Jubilee Hall is a key focus for many village activities, and its design lends itself well for the widest range of users’ needs.
The Bratton Parish Council regularly uses the Jubilee Hall for Council meetings, as it lends itself well to the need for members of the public to be able to observe the meetings. It is used regularly for social activities, including Sunday breakfasts, village plays. Over the Jubilee Bank Holiday the hall was used to celebrate the range of village activities. More recently we used it for the solemn Royal Proclamation following the sad death of HM the Queen, and for the hosting of the CPRE visitors following the ‘Best of the Best’ kept villages awards.
In short, the Jubilee Hall is a versatile building that is a real asset to Bratton.

Jubilee Players

On behalf of the Jubilee Players I cannot stress enough the importance of the Jubilee Hall to our amateur dramatics group. Being a volunteer community group, we have been
associated with the hall since our inception in 1996. Our aim was to provide entertainment to the village and surrounding areas through the use of plays, sketches and pantomimes as well as offering opportunities to young and old to gain experience both on stage and behind
the scenes. Something often not readily available to the rural community. We have always been proud to call the Jubilee Hall our home and have invested a lot of time and money in making it as good a venue as we can, working alongside the hall management team to ensure we can maintain quality entertainment whilst keeping a traditional village feel. We look forward to the continued support of the hall committee and the many productions to
come.

The Jubilee Hall provides a high quality, accessible and affordable venue for me to run my business of Pilates classes. This allows me to offer local residents an opportunity to attend classes in their vicinity to improve their physical health and wellbeing. The Jubilee Hall is a
highly regarded asset to the local community, and benefits a range of people.
